Event Information

Celebrate the first night of Chanukkah "Festival of Lights" at Asma Khan's Darjeeling Express in Soho after Xmas shopping. Food writer Sudi Pigott will explain this most fun and foodie of Jewish festivals, light the menorah and cook a feast helped by Nik's Kitchen and chef Ravneet Gill on dessert.

In honour of Sudi's Mum, £5 from each ticket will go to Life Kitchen, a charity providing free cooking lessons to rediscover taste for cancer sufferers founded by food writer Ryan Riley.

Oven baked potato latkes with chrain (beetroot and horseradish relish)

Moroccan fish balls in tomato and saffron sauce with couscous and kohlrabi, fennel, orange and chilli salad and green herb salad

Bermondsey Street Bee honey cheesecake made by chef Ravneet Gill, former St John’s chef and founder of Countertalk
