The Salt Box is full of (coffee) beans at the thought of joining forces with the fantastic Surrey Hills Coffee, for a weekend feast with a difference!
Our guests have long been enjoying Surrey Hills Coffee at our woodland breakfasts and we have recently made it a fixed feature of our supper club menus too, so we are delighted to be going to the source of the roasting magic for a special lunch in Abinger Hammer, Surrey Hills Coffee’s new home nestled deep in the Surrey Hills.
Monika and Chris founded the Surrey Hills Coffee roastery in 2014 and have since developed a tasty range of coffees, including their Scandinavian style Cottage Filter Blend and a selection of Espresso blends. They will kick off the event with a roastery demo and tasting session, which will be followed by a seasonal feast over fire in Abinger Hammer’s lovely country garden, overlooking the Surrey countryside.
So come and join us for a weekend pick-me up that will have you tackling Monday morning with a spring in your step, as we send you on your way with a bag of freshly ground coffee!

We will have limited capability to cater for dietary requirements without advance warning, due to the set menu nature of the event, so please let us know about anything relevant prior to booking your tickets.
As with all our events, you’ll be seated with fellow diners on sharing tables. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure you’re with all your pals, and you might even leave with some new ones! To encourage conviviality, a number of the dishes are designed for sharing and will be put in the centre of your tables.

The whole event was amazing. I loved every minute. The hosts were fabulous. I had an amazing day. I have since made pasta at home and one of the sauces. Can't rate it high enough. I have told everyone to take a look.
