It was an absolutely fun evening, lots of fun and laughs. Ainsley had constant high energy and literally got round to meet everyone. The staff were all lovely too. The food was superb but I felt the lamb was a little bland but all the accompaniments were delicious.

Ainslie was amazing . He got the evening going , the wine flowing . He was informative about his trip to the Caribbean and all the hard graft he had to put in besides explaining the ingredients in the recipes used for the evening . let’s hope he will return to Waitrose in Chester. £65 well spent . Brilliant event, Ainsley was the perfect host. The team behind the event created a wonderful Caribbean space inside and the hot weather outside added to the spicy vibe of the food! Wow what a great night! Can’t thank the team, Ainsley, Waitrose, John Lewis & Co enough. Great food, wine and company. We met a lovely couple who gave us a lift to our local pub where we all carried on chatting until the wee small hours. Ainsley was the perfect host so amiable and shared his time out with his guests. The Waitrose cafe was transformed and had a great vibe, loved the table decorations.
