Join us for a fun afternoon with Brazilian style food, drinks and games.
This event is in aid of Macmillans charity. Last time we did a coffee and cake afternoon. So this year we though of doing something allied to the success of the Rio olympics.
If the weather is suitable we will utilize the garden (we do have quite a long garden area). Should this be rained off, we have plenty of space inside.
What's on the menu?
Our own version of Feijoada - Brazillian meat stew, served with or without rice.
For any vegetarians we have alternately a Brazillian style bean stew.
Citrus baps and traditional baps.
Rio cupcakes - coffee & vanilla.
Fruit platter.
Coffee will also be served (tea and fruit teas are available for those like myself who do not drink coffee).
Afterwards there will be fun games, including an olympics quiz and for those who feel a little more athletic a game called Cornhole.
