Event Information

Alan is on call this weekend which means we can't really venture far so come along, have lunch, bring a newspaper, pat the dog, cuddle the cat and relax.

I have checked out the forecast and it it going to be a dull rainy day so I am going to make something warm, filling and tasty.

Slowly cooked beef rendang - A bit like a beef stew but with a flavoursome twist. Rendag is a rich mild curry of Indonesian origin flavoured with coconut. I will make this very mild and serve it with chilli on the side so you can make it as hot as you like.

Sticky sesame cauliflower - I have made this a few times and it always disappears off the plate. The cauliflower is batter dipped and baked (instead of fried!) before being drenched in a sweet and spicy sesame sauce and served.

Pak choi and other green vegetables pan fried with garlic, ginger and onions.

Rice - would be rude not too.

Home made ice cream and cake - there will be cake.

Tea, coffee and mints.
