Let's celebrate the Bank Holiday weekend with a banquet of a breakfast. I visited Tel Aviv a few years ago and was blown away by the sumptuous breakfasts. Dish after dish appeared full of olives, honey, cheese it was epic. You will need to buy bread to go with the food and you will need an egg for the shakshuka. You can eat it straight away on the Saturday or save it for a lazy Sunday/Monday grazing. Find a sunshine corner of the house, a pot of fresh coffee, a very big bloody mary and relax.
Shakshuka is the main breakfast dish and then you will get at least 8 of the other dishes. If there is anything in particular that you want let me know when you book and I will make sure it's in the bag. If you are ordering more than one I will make sure that you get as many different pots as possible. I highly recommend buying some pitta bread and popping it in the toaster to warm it but any selection of fresh bread, croissants or crackers will go well with the breakfast. Tea, coffee, fresh orange juice, I am having a very big jug of bloody mary with mine. There's lots of options so if you want vegan, diary free etc let me know when you book.
Shakshuka is a delicious combination of eggs poached in a spicy tomato sauce, onions, tomatoes, and spices are cooked until they form a delicious . I've done the hard work for you all you need to do is make a well in the sauce, crack an egg and pop it in the oven for about 6 minutes.
