Warm Ecclefechan tart - Ecclefechan is a little place in Scotland, the birthplace of poet and author Thomas Carlyle and the home of Ecclefechan whiskey. The tart has a texture reminiscent of pecan pie but is spiced with cinnamon and lemon peel and studded with raisins - a bit more sophisticated than a mince pie with an added bonus of a hint of whiskey.

If you have room there is a selection of foreign and local cheese some hard, some soft - so soft they are practically gooey served with grapes, walnuts, quince jelly, fig jam and biscuits.

Freshly ground Brazilian coffee served with a variety of after dinner mints. Our variety of liqueur coffees knows no bounds. We have whiskey, both Irish and Scottish, Brandy, Tia Maria, Baileys, Tequila, Rum, Amaretto; you name it we’ve got it !!! There is also Yorkshire tea, mint tea, green tea, liquorice tea, pomegranate and apple tea and decaf coffee if anyone wants one.
