Come and try a different type of vegetarian meal, where your veggie 'meat' tastes like meat. There will be lots of vegetables , too. So if you are a vegetarian and are fed-up with the same old stuff, try this.
This is a vegetarian meal that is unlike the ones you are familiar with. I will be serving roasted 'goose', 'chicken' stew and some other dishes. The protein part of the meal is mainly from soy and gluten.
This is a Chinese vegetarian dinner and the meal is served Malaysian style - where all the dishes placed on the table and guests help themselves. Just be mindful that everyone has the opportunity to savour all the dishes.
Welcome drinks and nibbles
Roast Vegetarian 'Goose'. This is a very popular dish in Malaysia
'Chicken' and Butternut Squash Stew -My Style
My own recipe using Eastern and Western herbs and spices to give a fragrant stew. It is not spicy hot.
Stir Fried Vegetables
No Strings attached Beans with 'Mince'
Rice
Dessert
Tea and coffee
Soft drinks served.
This is the menu and there might be some changes depending on whether I can get fresh supply of the vegetables on the day. The Goose and the Chicken is definitely on.
Please do not be put off by the omnivoruos terms. It is actually soy or gluten based.

This was our first supper with WeFiFo and Loretta made us very welcome. We were a group of three friends. Loretta cooked a delicious three course Malaysian meal and taught us the correct way to use chopsticks for the noodles. The main course was Lorbak; a pork dish and family favourite that Loretta had learned to cook as a child with her mother. Loretta joined us at the table and told us many stories about food and life in Malaysia. She is a witty host and a first class cook. In summary- a super evening, well worth the money, making new friends over superb food.

This was our first event and the Host made us most welcome (we were a bit early at their house) and the other 4 guests (that we did not know at all) were a good bunch as we had Great food and good conversation at the table. There was plenty of food and the Soup was Superb (best ever) and the Desert idea was novel and tasty.

Loretta was a lovely and very good host and I was made to feel very welcome. Each course of the Afternoon Tea was explained in detail with the ingredients content and how it was prepared/cooked, everything was tasty and new to my taste buds. A lovely introduction to Malaysian cuisine. Thank-you Loretta & hope to see you again soon.
