Join MasterChef champion and Scotland's National Chef
Gary Maclean in the Waitrose Milngavie Café. Gary will prepare a seasonal and impeccably presented menu which will be paired with Waitrose wines.
As with all our Supper Clubs, you’ll be seated with fellow diners on sharing tables.
Doors open at 6pm, first course served at 6:30pm.
The Supper Club will finish at 9pm.
This is a set Supper Club menu.
Canapés:
Haggis bon bons
Scottish smoked salmon cream cheese blinis
Tomato mozzarella skewers
Chicken liver parfait with red currant
Starter:
Smoked haddock and crab risotto
With spinach, peas, crispy quails’ eggs
Main:
Pan-seared breast of Gressingham duck
Confit leg with green lentils and Dauphinoise potatoes
Dessert:
Baked chocolate tart
Red berry and vanilla compote, chocolate wafer and raspberry sorbet.

Gary was very personable and his food was well cooked and presented. I thought the risotto was the highlight. The duck was a bit overdone for me and the chocolate tart a bit rich.
