Today's roast is chicken, I usually put a variety of vegetables in with the chicken to roast and caramelize to add flavour to the roasting juices. There will be a traditional gravy made with the chicken and vegetable juices in the roasting tin and homemade chicken stock just let me tell you I have made men cry with the wonder of my gravy ...

If you are a vegetarian and would still like to come let me know and we will rustle up something equally as delicious.

Roast potatoes and at least three different kinds of vegetables.

Huge Yorkshire puddings - you can have more than one if you have room.

For pudding .....

Apple and blackberry crumble with custard, cream or ice cream or all three!

Warm, straight out of the oven, soft, fluffy homemade scones with jam, oooohhh not just your ordinary raspberry and strawberry (yes you can have these if you want) but we will also have apricot, lemon curd, Giuseppe damson, cherry and chocolate, caramel apple, pear and ginger, golden raspberry, rose petal jelly, blackcurrant and vanilla, apricot and passion fruit, raspberry and Morello cherry to name but a few.

If you have room there is a selection of foreign and local cheese some hard, some soft - so soft they are practically gooey served with grapes, walnuts, figs, biscuits and a snifter of port

Freshly ground Brazilian coffee served with a variety of after dinner mints. There is also Yorkshire tea, mint tea, green tea, liquorice tea, pomegranate and apple tea and decaf coffee if anyone wants one.
