Come and join Alan and I for all things tapasie
When my sister comes for dinner she brings her slippers and wears trousers with an elasticated waist ..... She is classy my sister x
A large board of all things charcuterie, salamis, olives, air dried hams served with a variety of breads to tear and share.
Tortilla - this classic Spanish dish is heaven on a plate. Quite simply eggs, potatoes and some sweet Spanish onion.
Feta salad with spinach, sumac, pine nuts and croutons - this is a really interesting twist on a salad. The citrus rush of the sumac mixed with the saltiness of the feta, the softness of the spinach with the crunch of the pinenuts and croutons means every mouthful is different.
Chickpea salad - Chickpeas and jujjed up using garlic, chillies, onion, lemon mint and coriander … it’s all in the secret dressing.
Roasted cauliflower with a garlic-tahini dip – Roasting does something magical to cauliflower.
Hot chorizo with butter beans and tomato salad - When you cook with chorizo it fills the kitchen with a magical aroma as the spices and paprika ooze out of the Spanish sausage and coat everything in a rich, red perfume. The creamy, plump luxurious butter beans make this a really special dish.
Morcilla is Spain's answer to black pudding - tonight we are teaming this up with some broad beans, garlic, fennel and mint.
For pudding we always have more than one, you can have both or neither and save yourself for cheese!
Affogato - which technically is fresh hot espresso coffee poured over vanilla ice-cream but tonight you can have a choice of hot pour over sauces so choose from espresso coffee, salted caramel, honey, cream and Jack Daniels, chocolate or baileys.
Cake - TBC
If you have room there is a selection of foreign and local cheese some hard, some soft - so soft they are practically gooey served with grapes, walnuts, quince jelly, fig jam and biscuits.
Freshly ground Brazilian coffee served with a variety of after dinner mints. Our variety of liqueur coffees knows no bounds. We have whiskey, both Irish and Scottish, Brandy, Tia Maria, Baileys, Tequila, Rum, Amaretto; you name it we’ve got it !!! There is also Yorkshire tea, mint tea, green tea, liquorice tea, pomegranate and apple tea and decaf coffee if anyone wants one.
