The evening started with a lovely welcome drink using Aperol which is one of my favourite spirits. The venue was a beautiful space, small and cosy with really nice furnishing. We had proper chair (with a back to them) on a nice long table all together. When it comes to supper clubs, there is always the worry of leaving the evening hungry. I can say that on this evening, there was more than enough food, and no one left even close to being hungry! The starter itself was like a main. It was delicious! The main was a Malabar coconut, cauliflower, spinach and chickpea curry with wild and long grain rice. This was so incredibly good and for so many reasons. Reason number one, it was cooked to perfection. The veg were still whole and had not melted into nothing. Reason two, the flavours were spot on and delicious. Reason three, the rice, which I’m not not normally a big fan of was fantastic. The grains really were very long, and light as air. There wasn’t a sticky part to them which was a nice change from cost curries. I’m not sure if it actually was, but this main felt healthy. For all I know if could be filled with unhealthy fats like coconut oil, but it surely didn’t seem like it. Overall, it was a really nice dinner. There were no frills to the night, just really great food and service.

Suzanne's supper club was such an enjoyable night! A lovely, intimate venue in Dulwich with bags of charm. All three courses were delicious, especially when it came to the Bakewell tart (...not one crumb left on a plate!) I really hope to return again soon - can highly recommend!
