James is cooking a feast of goat meat and delicious salads using the bakery's wood-fired oven in the woods and local produce. Kate from Tracebridge Sourdough will make pudding. BYO with local apple juice and kombucha on sale. Full menu details to come.

Hi James I hope things are well, dissapointingg to see there are still so many tickets for sale for Sunday the 10th. I am booked as a group of three, and just wanted to check a couple of things, if I can bring the dog and also if I can bring the camera to take a couple of pics of you at work etc ( I'm a local food and commercial photographer and think this will be nice for my portfolio ). We had a great time at flour and ash. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was exquisite. Would definitely recommend it.

The food was fine. Not exceptional. The evening could have benefited from some canapes to go with the fizz. The starter needed to have some bread with it but was only served once a few of us asked. Who was my host? Waitrose or the chef? The chef appeared for half a minute to tell us what the menu was. We had that written down in front of us so..... It would have been nice if he'd appeared after dessert which incidentally was the best part of the meal.
