Jim Abbott joins me in the kitchen at Peckham Manor for an eight course tasting menu of food from his motherland Yorkshire and my great city London as we battle it out to see who has the best food. But we need you to eat the food and decide.

Jim Abbott hales from Yorkshire and has worked with me for many years he was head chef at Mark Hix Hixter restaurant, before moving to wright brothers as head chef of the Soho site. He is culturally at the newly opened Isabelle in Mayfair. A chef Heavyweight for sure and trust me the boy can cook. He is like all good Yorkshiremen, very proud of his roots. But its time to settle the score and have the cook off we need to find out that we down south have the better food so I'll be cooking up 4 classic London dishes to go alongside Jim's 4 Yorkshire ones. Then after every course, we will have a vote to see what you thought. The points will be added up as we go though the night in the end there can be only one winner but who will it be?

Absolutely fantastic meal - garden-smoked salmon, *truly* amazing beef (and fab potatoes...) with a delish treacle tart at the end. Ronnie made it a memorable evening.

Ronnie was a great host - explaining the food to us for each course. It felt like we were at a chefs table at a restaurant! A lot of passion and hard work had gone into the menu!
