Come and join me for a night of tapas, nibbles and good conversation with some friendly folk. Apart from the salami and the this is a tapas that leans to a vegetarian diet but do let me know when you book and I will make sure the salami is served on a separate board and will rustle up any meat alternatives
We are starting the evening off with some sharing boards of all things charcuterie, 6 different types of salamis, 4 different types of olives and 5 different types of cheeses served with a variety of breads to tear and share.
Tortilla - A Spanish classic with only three ingredients, eggs, potatoes and onions but done well it is a miraculous thing.
We are going to do something sexy with tomatoes.....
Pollo y Setas al Jerez - Chicken, mushrooms, garlic and sherry (lots of sherry)
Patatas al pobre - literally stranslated as poor man's potaotes this classic dish is three ingredients, potatoes, onions and peppers but wil make your heart sing.
For pudding (we always have two)
Torta de Naranja - Oranges, almonds and cinnamom are all Moorish ingredients that are much used in southern Spanish cuisine, this cake is all of the things that reminds you of Granada, Seville and Cordoba served with a sticky syrup and cream.
We will have meringues, some homemade ice cream if I have room in my very full freezer and then one other so if you have any favourites give me a shout.
Coffee, tea, turron and chocolates.
