A marvellous, sociable, lovely and enchanting evening. The groupings at tables had been thoughtfully made to give us the best chance of getting along with our table companions. Our hosts were so welcoming, the setting was delightful in the Sussex countryside and the table settings were beautiful: natural twigs, ivy and berries and candles. We were encouraged to mingle and move around, which I did and I made new friends!
