Join Gabriella, the chef behind Little Sambol, for a 4 course menu at The Hill Station Cafe.
Expect big flavours of Sri Lanka in every mouthful. Gabriella will be cooking a mix of regional dishes and her own interpretation of her favourite Sri Lankan plates.
Colombo 14 Puri
Fried gram flour puri, stuffed with turmeric potato, mango whipped ricotta, coriander and mint sambol, tamarind chutney, buttermilk soaked red chilli and fried gram flour noodles (v)

Curried Black Pepper Pâté
Chicken liver or mushroom pâté (v), katta sambol, ‘gotu kola’, cornichons, sourdough

Kothu Roti
Fried curry soaked roti, egg, leek, carrot and spring onion served with a black lamb curry or fried aubergine tamarind curry (v), pol sambol and beetroot and mint yoghurt

Watalappam Cheesecake
Burnt yoghurt jaggery cheesecake and ginger cream (v)

Hi I just booked a place at your supper club event on the 28th August at the Hill Station. Some friends Julia and Richard Gray will also be booking places so I was wondering how we could be seated together despite booking separately. Lovely and sweet! I'd never tried the food before and they talked through every element of the meal in a very friendly manner, coming back frequently to check up and see how I was liking the food.

The food was amazing and spaced out nicely! Very good value for what we had, a lovely event. We will go back to Gabrielle's events for sure :)
