Interesting hearing the background on how the authors produced their books and was nice to meet them. Our host did a very good job interviewing the authors.

Venue, welcome drink, canapes fine and my BBQ was frankly appalling and disappointing both in quality, presentation and was the bare minimum you could get way with. The icecream was ok but couldn't save the overall experience . I had had better food at school BBQs. Poor value for money, it was basically a glorified book selling event. Inviting one author would have been sufficient. Their presentations took up too much time, however saying that the subsequent BBQ food was nothing to stay around for anyway.
