What a wonderful evening celebrating Lost Cherry’s first ever big pop up from the. One of the great things about supper clubs is the opportunity not only to meet people who would not normally come into your world but to try dishes that you would possibly not order in a restaurant. The braised black olives with lemon and thyme were a sheer joy to eat as was the beautiful sourdough baked by Toby from Dough to Door, the short rib of beef had a depth of flavour to it that I can only dream of achieving accompanied by the celeriac puree, pickled cauliflower and asparagus it was a poem on a plate. I’ve never eaten butternut squash in a pudding before but the pairing of this sweet vegetable with the sour, sharpness of the cherry was pure genius, if my name was Paul Hollywood it would, e without doubt, have earned the Lost Cherry team a hand shake. The attention to detail was very much appreciated, the table decorations and the individual Ikebana place settings were beautiful and set the tone for the evening. Outstanding food from this very talented and innovative team, an absolute joy and triumph.

Great evening,the only tiny problem was the food wasn’t hot enough for my taste. This was probably due to the food being carried upstairs with no cover and could maybe be thought about for future events

I really enjoyed the evening and the food, presentation and decor. It was the hosts' first event. I felt that it would have been nice to be briefly introduced to everyone at the table by the host at the start of the evening to make everyone feel welcome. This isn't a criticism as it was a friendly evening, just a heads up for the next one.
