Introduction to Sichuan Hot Pot

Tamlan is an absolute gent, he knew I was arriving alone and waited outside for me with his little dog which was a lovely touch. From the minute I met Tamlan he was warm, welcoming, friendly and made me feel very comfortable in his fabulous flat. Tamlan took the time to explain the history of the dish and went through all the different elements and ingredients, the food was fresh (it cooks right in front of you and there was absolutely loads, I was so stuffed!) Tamlan is great company, a brilliant host and an awesome chef - highly recommend spending an evening with Tamlan, enjoying fabulous food with a very comfortable host.
