Come and join me in my home kitchen where I will take you on a spice journey, learning about their health benefits and how easy it is to create nutritious and delicious Indian food for you friends and family.
After the class we all sit down to enjoy the fruits of our labour with a glass of something cold.
Can Indian food be healthy? Take a seat in Dee’s Kitchen and find out.
I have adapted the traditional Indian food made by my mum and grandmothers by eliminating the oil and fat that Indian food can contain but I never compromise on the flavour. Spend a few hours in my kitchen and embark on a journey to discover an array of spices, how to use them and what the health benefits are.
You will learn to make all of the following:
My homestyle black lentil Dhal
Masaledar Palak Paneer
Gujarati style Alu Gobi
Spiced Cucumber Raita
My mum's red cabbage salad
Plus you'll also get to try a few delicious extras that I've prepared in advance.
