The Knepp Wild Range Supper Club
Everything was splendid. The barn was attractive and warm. The food was interesting and delicious. The venison loin was superb. It was fascinating to learn something of the re-wilding project and I look forward to reading the book. Such interesting and lovely dinner companions. We felt lucky to be there. Thank you.

Fascinating back story behind the food which was why I booked. Recommend anyone interested in consuming higher welfare meet looks at the story of Knepp in the 21st century: https://www.rewildingbritain.org.uk/rewilding/rewilding-projects/knepp-estate The Indian flavours twist, by the chef, on eating game, was superb but he also served a magnificent celeriac puree!

We were a group of 8 who all had the most fantastic evening. The food was sublime - the pork dish and the noodle salad especially! Archie is a very talented chef! Archi plants is the most beautiful venue and I can't wait to go to more events there.

Fabulous food, couldn’t fault anything that was put on the table, it was absolutely delicious. A couple of things that could’ve improved the experience rather than a criticism: I would’ve preferred a bowl rather than a plate for the starters of dahl and cauliflower, which was difficult to eat on a plate. And I would’ve also loved some rice and or warm bread to accompany the dishes, all of which were stunning. The setting was exquisite but the cold was almost unbearable towards the end of the evening even with hand warmers! A hot drink of some kind would’ve be wonderful at the end. A great evening with wonderful food in a fabulous setting! I would definitely repeat it but would prefer it to be held either in warmer weather or to be heated somehow. Archie was fabulous!

Very disappointed as there was such a lack of food and the hour long wait for food when it was so cold, a few hot nibbles would have been very much appreciated. The venue was perfect in the summer but more effort needs to be made if this is going to be a regular winter event.

Amazing food and company - outdoor dining with some of the most sophisticated Indian cooking we’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. Thanks again!

Archie presented us with 7 of the best plates of food we’ve had this year. Exceptional, balanced and interesting Keralan food - described as a deconstructed thali but as well understood as some of the best cooking you’ll ever eat. Pulled pheasant, tandoori pigeon and stout cooked mutton were highlights but I’d be happy to live off the dhal with aubergine crisps every day of my life forever. A triumph.
The plates have been cleared, the oven switched off, the washing up has been put away… so how did it go?
